We are connecting volunteers from around the world, who are interested in assisting local teachers in their classes and teaching about different subjects such as Environmental education, Art, Sports and English. The volunteers have the opportunity to get involved in other aspects of school life, or run extra-curricular activities and after-school clubs.

Through this program, you will experience a truly enriching cultural exchange. The children  deserve time and information to develop their different skills and get the knowledge that alternatives in education will give them.

At the schools we work with, no English is spoken. Thus, it is necessary that you take advantage of the Spanish classes to ensure your enjoyment of the program, as well as enhancing your Spanish skills.

Why do the project need volunteers?
This is an opportunity to make a positive impact in people lives, opening their minds, giving them the option to develop different skills and to improve their abilities to learn. Alternatives in education will give them motivation to grow as well as  feel optimistic about their future and their communities. It offers a greater opportunity to inspire our youth to go to university, to seek jobs in tourism, business and commerce.
